Hi All,
I am running vmware workstation 8.0 on windows 8 host. This problem does not occur with a linux VM, but if I boot a windows 7 VM, and then LOCK the host. E.g. the host screensaver comes on and locks the session.
Problem, I am then unable to login to the windows 8 host, instead it hangs at the login screen - until rebooted. Again, this only occurs when the windows 7 VM is active.
The only indicative event log on the host is the following entry.
Log Type Driver
Device responded with an error status.
Status: ReaderCompletionUnknownMsgType
