Yeah I've had numerous vmware reps tell me that the OSX client or app store app is right around the corner for the last 3 years and I'm still using vsphere client in a windows VM. It is literally the only thing in the entire infrastructure I need Windows for. We can already make console connections from VMware Workstation in Windows and Linux. Somehow VMware sells a "Pro" version of VMware Fusion for which we pay extra but it's only "Pro" in the sense of pricetag, not in the sense that professionals can use it to manage vSphere. And, oh yeah, vSphere is the highest cost virtualization platform available.... srsly wtf?
